COVID situation in Canada

With the COVID Omicron spreading fast through the country and the world, Canada went back with some old restrictions this New Year.
Here in our blog, you can find some relevant information about traveling and visiting public places in BC and Ontario.

But be aware that regulation might change over time, please refer to the government website for most up to date information.

For traveling

Travelers are required to provide proof of a COVID-19 negative molecular test result  within 72 hours of the scheduled departure time of their flight to enter Canada or a proof of a previous positive test result taken between 15 and 180 days ago. The types of tests accepted are: PCR – Polymerase chain reaction, Nucleic acid test (NAT) or Nucleic acid amplification test (NAATs) and Reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP).

Travelers must also use the ArriveCAN mobile app to enter the proof of vaccination, quarantine and travel information. If the traveler is selected to do another test on arrival, one might do a quarantine till the negative result of the test. So, we recommend you to have a quarantine plan to show at the border.
